Duties include modeling appropriate demeanor, attitude, dress, conduct and interpersonal behavior for developmentally disabled adults while providing individualized training and personal assistance. The ADT program provides a learning environment that allows clients to pursue employability skills training to include, but not limited to: proper dress, personal hygiene, developing appropriate on-task behaviors, time management, interpersonal interaction skills, safety, and decision-making abilities. We work at identifying, and advocating for individuals that are ready to pursue community employment. This position also provides personal care assistance, toileting, and the transfer and lifting of participants.
Duties include transporting developmentally disabled adults to and from ARC programs and special events in the community. Assist clients in safely embarking and dis-embarking vehicles. Will also be responsible for vehicle inspections, safety and record keeping. We require excellent people skills to interact with clients, families, staff and members of the community members in a positive and professional manner.
Duties include modeling appropriate demeanor, attitude, dress, conduct and interpersonal behavior for developmentally disabled adults while providing individualized training and personal assistance in a group home setting. Responsible for supervision and safety of all residents, and accurately completing all required documentation. As well as handling or assisting with meal preparation, household chores, laundry, bathing, and toileting, accompanying clients to community outings and providing transportation using an ARC van.
